Awards

Among the many awards the company has received are the Hennessy Award (highest quality multiple facility foodservice operation for the US Air Force worldwide) and the Golden Spoon award from the National Restaurant Association for its operation at Nellis AFB in Nevada, both awarded in 1997. For the year 2003, Superior Services received the Regional Prime Contractor of the Year Award for Small Business Administration (SBA) nominated by the US Air Force Flight Test Center/BC. In 2002, 2003 and 2004, Superior Services received the Ney Hill Award for providing the highest quality food service. The Ney Hill and Hennessy awards encourage excellence in Air Force, Navy and Marine Corps food service programs with the objective of improving the quality of life for our Air Force, Navy and Marine Corps personnel. In 2004, Ms. Sheila Guarderas received the California Business Woman of The Year Award.
